eleawarf1 That's funny, your akita and other dog act just like my akita and my elkhound. They are about the same height difference as yours and my elhound gets irritated with the "puppy" and she will bark at her like that, and my akita takes off for loops around the yard! coolmeepee omgosh my dog is the same way! shes soo cute. her name is Nikki. she is really friendly but if she doesnt reconize you she barks untill you let her sniff you and pet her. But when she does know you she makes that arooooooooo sound. its soo funny. does your akita make that sound? my dad and her are really close.
