Man, i really want a pet dog, but since i still live with my parents i cant get one, because im not alowed to own any pets.
i was thinking about getting either a finnish spitz or a american eskimo dog in a few years (when i move out of course), but when i look at this cute little thing i want a american eskimo dog more than a finnish spitz.
The good thing is that my grandmother is a dogperson, so she can help me raise a happy and healthy dog! =) |

@LoreleiMission I JUST adopted a 13 year old male senior .he is blind..was in a wire cage for 7 years.he is the sweetest lil guy..just craves to be held

why do people get dogs if they are going to keep them tied up or in cages? Pets are to have fun with & they are part of the family. You wouldnt tie up a family member would you? I just dont agree with having pets locked up or tied up. |

they also need to run and play a lot outside with a 'pack' whether it be other dogs or people. to keep one isolated is cruel. |

@k1ssmyc0w It's not necessary to pay a lot for an American Eskimo. There are Eskie Rescue groups all over the United States, also some in Canada, they have Eskies of all ages that need be rehomed from puppies up to seniors whose owners died... never buy from a breeder when there are many dogs in Rescues that need to be adopted... you can find a rescue doggie for very low cost! :) |

@jen8933 Yeah I've never seen an Eskie keep its tail down so much. An Eskie coming out of its cage would have tail up and be pleased to be out, and pleased to see its owner, and its tail would be up. This Eskie's emotions are skewed for some unknown reason. Gives me a bad feeling. |

They do really look like Japanese Spitz. I wonder if they have the same temperament. Our family always choose Japanese Spitz if we want to have a dog. They're adorable. |
