GIANT Alaskan Malamute 180 Pounds.. Taken with a Motorola DROID
This is my 7 year old Alaskan Malamute "Shiloh" (Male) he just weighed in at 180 pounds at our vets office. I got him from a breeder here in Pennsylvania were I live. He was the largest in his litter. Not sure why he is this big he doesnt even eat that much!
UPDATE: Shiloh passed away July-26-2010. He was 8 years old.
Shiloh didnt get around to good he had Lyme Disease and was treated. He is outside because he hates being indoors it was to hot for him I also had 6 cats inside and he didnt like cats. He killed small animals.
The American Kennel Club (AKC) breed standard calls for a natural range of size 75 pounds (34 kg) for females 85 pounds (39 kg) for males.

the true mamalute are huge ass dogs. i saw one at petsmart in my area and he was gianormous! the lady told me that there arent very many left.

Sorry to hear you lost Shiloh :( what a lovely big mal though, nearly 82kg is heavy! I have a male siberian who weighs 43kg (95 pounds), way above normal weight, he's a big softy, love him to bits.
