Hands down, they're the best all around dogs, I've ever seen. They do a little of everything, work-wise and my heeler gives a Rottweiler a SERIOUS run for its money in the guard dog catagory. U cannot go wrong with a heeler, but YOU HAVE TO BE THE BOSS. |

we have a 7 y.o. Aussie cow dog named Bishop and I knew nothing about them before we adopted him, now he's my best buddy in the whole world and we go hiking all the time...never runs out of energy or enthusiam and is so darn smart! |

This reminds me so much of my two cattle dogs. My blue heeler has that intense focus on the toy or object of interest... and my female red heeler will stay off to the side and try to get in on the action anytime she can slip in, lol... sometimes she looks at him like he is nuts. |

Get yourself a Blue Heeler (ACD), nothing beats them. I'm not a dog person, I love cats, but some one dropped a pup off on my road and I'd thank the shit head for it.
They're smart, tons of energy, but they can relax and be very calm, they have tons of focus if you don't make it stupid.
They have all the good traits a decent person wants. |

sorry about your pitbull. don't know if u have a dog now or not but i have a 7 week acd and it doesn't whine or cry about anything,not even when its time to sleep or left alone which is good but strange for pups. great dogs these |
