I have a tri black mini aussie, just turned 6 months and he is so smart...most of the time! But everytime I try to make a video of him he stops whatever he was doing! I must become more sneaky! |

@bbyrne16 Well if you get them from a good breeder anyway. mine I got from a backyard breeder just because they were starving the poor pups, and he does not like strangers. We have been doing a lot of shows and he just turned two and is doing so much better though. Just takes a lot of working with them. |

@engeltal This is true. My 6 month Aussie is very happy to see everyone, especially kids. She has barked a little at the UPS man and Maintence man but those are more of "Hey someone is here" barks. It's all about socialization I think but sometimes dogs just have that kind of personality. IMO |

Well I know aussies are reputed as being very loving to the owner, and suspicious of strangers, but my Aussie Chase, other then being the best dog in the whole wide world :D, is actually very very friendly to about any1 he sees, even in the street.
So dont let the fact that people say they can be distrustful of strangers discourage you, their like humans each has his traits. |

@08scionFM I've lived with Aussies my entire life, and I've yet to see any of them wary of strangers. Yes, there is ones that are wary of strangers, but those are the ones that haven't been socialized. |

@bbyrne16 aussies love their owners and are naturally wary of outsiders... get your information right before you spout off at the mouth |
