@cimtay88 anatolian shepherds have been raised as pure breed since 1950s. its origin comes from kangal and other turkish dogs. since english breeders know their work, it definetly is now a pure breed. unfortunately some kangals today in my opinion have mastiff blood added recently. to much big bulky mastiff headed kangals today. |

This is an Ananatolian, but it is a young one. When fully filled out, the head and face will be much more sturdy looking. They definitely are leggy at this age. This dog is probably no more than 12-15 months (if that) |
