There is now a new video that has been uploaded of our new litter which is a repeat of this litter. The new litter is 6 days old today :-) |

Well if you did want to get it from us, we have a questionnaire that has to be filled out first to make sure we fit each other and if that goes well then puppies can leave with someone at 7 weeks and can fly at 8 weeks pending vet approval... We usually pre sell our pups prior to them being old enough to leave here but we try to make the wait fun..which is where these videos came in... |

I just have a question...i've never had a dog in my life but i've always wanted to get an akita. If lets say there wasn't any waiting list or any of that, and i wanted to buy one let's say from you(just an example), would i have to wait a certain amount of time after they are born before i can actually get it? |

Of course they aren't as obedient as young pups, no breed of dog is as they are learning to explore, but they grow out of this quickly and start to love to train, as you point out that yours wouldn't leave your sight :-) Thanks for the comment! :-) |

This litter was quite popular and has been repeated to be born in approximately 8 weeks and will be able to go to their new homes 8 weeks after that so 4 months from now. If you are interested, be sure to get on our waitlist :-) |

it really just depends on your dog. but i had and akita and at its younger age it would run outside and u have to chase it but u can teach it and as it gets older u can bring it outside and it wont go out of your site. i suggest u get one their the best dog you will ever have |

No I wouldn't say thatis true unless you are a lazy trainer so to speak. They like to train because itpleases you but theyare independent thinkers so you must be consistent which is where many owners fail. Thanks for the compliment and the comment! |

i know how that works - get spooned by a dog that all of a sudden wants to stretch and you are the one that ends up on the floor - lol - thanks for the comment |

SO cute!!!!! We have had 2 akitas..so different but both WONDERFUL..the best dogs EVER! Our present akita is the most popular dog in town! EVERYONE(both man & dog)loves him & says he should be the ambassador of the breed! HA! He is a huge 130lb akita...a true gentle giant!!!! He has 2 cat brothers who adore him & they all sleep together...on our bed! Not much room for us! |

They generally don't bark but they aren't necessarily silent either. Some are very active talkers. The aroo and woo and make all kinds of interesting sounds when they talk to you. They do that when they want something or are happy in general. Not all Akitas do it though. Thanks for the comment :-) |
